Homecoming Coronation Tickets are now available to purchase online! Tickets are $5.00. Mora Students are free to attend! (Students grades K-6 must have an adult present). The homecoming coronation event will be held Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 7:00pm in the MHS Auditorium. Doors will open 1/2 hour before the scheduled start time. Mora HS and Pine Technical College hosted a college fair for area schools at Welia Center. An opportunity for students to connect with college representatives and explore opportunities.

We are asking all families to fill out an Application for Educational Benefits this year. While meals are free for all families this school year, these forms have a direct impact on school funding. The school may receive less funding based on the number of Educational Benefits forms we collect. Attached you will find links to the Application for Educational Benefits with a letter from Mr. Voce, frequently asked questions, and an informational flyer. Please complete this form and return it to your student's building. If do not have access to a printer, paper copies are available in each office. WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION... 1. Your family may qualify to receive benefits through the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program. This program gives hundreds of dollars to qualifying families (on an EBT card) to spend at the grocery store! 2. Your family may qualify for reduced/waived school fees, such as tech fees, activity fees, field trip fees, and others. 3. Your student(s) may qualify for free or reduced tuition at some post-secondary schools. 4. Approved applications help the school qualify for education funds and discounts. 5. Families with approved applications receive reduced admissions to the Science Museum, MN Children's Museum, and numerous MN Historical Society Exhibits across the entire state of Minnesota. 6. Teachers can qualify for special funds/grants to use in their classrooms. 7. Title I and special event nights like Family Reading Night can continue. Mora Public Schools welcomed back students and their families K-12 during our back to school open house. It was so wonderful to see and hear the hustle and bustle of students excitement for the upcoming year. Both MES and MHS had a wonderful turnout.
