We're immensely grateful to the Better Together Coalition for sharing this month's edition of the Stall Talks newsletter with us. Packed with crucial information on recognizing the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships, this resource is a gem for school our community.
Understanding these dynamics is key to fostering respect, communication, and care in any relationship. The Stall Talks newsletter serves as a fantastic starting point for important conversations with your student about relationship health and well-being.
Let's take this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with our young ones, guiding them toward building and maintaining positive relationships throughout their lives. Thank you, Better Together Coalition, for empowering us with knowledge and tools to support these conversations.
For those interested in exploring the newsletter or starting a dialogue on this topic, we encourage you to use the QR code on the flyer.

Our students are diving deep under the hood in their "Know Your Car" class, exploring the world of automotive mechanics! Each session is a hands-on experience where they're getting to grips with the various tools and technologies that keep our vehicles running smoothly. From wrenches to diagnostic scanners, they're not just learning to identify these essential tools but also understanding their functions and how to use them effectively. It's all about empowering our young mechanics with the knowledge and skills to tackle automotive challenges confidently. Whether changing a tire or checking the oil, these students are on the fast track to becoming savvy car enthusiasts and skilled problem solvers. Keep up the great work, future gearheads!

In a heartwarming display of community support, First Citizens Bank of Mora has made a generous donation that brought our "Soup's On" initiative to life at Mora High School! This incredible gesture enabled our food shelf program, Food for Friends, to provide families with something special this February.
With valuable dietary guidance from MN Extension, we were able to purchase crockpots, ladles, and all the ingredients needed for a nourishing slow cooker meal. Families visiting MHS during evening conferences had the delightful opportunity to collect their crockpot and ingredients, ensuring warm, delicious meals for many.
This initiative goes beyond just feeding bodies; it's about nourishing our community's spirit, providing comfort, and fostering connections. A huge THANK YOU to First Citizens Bank for their generosity and to everyone involved in making this project a success. Your kindness and support have truly made a difference in the lives of our students and their families.
Here's to more warm meals and warm hearts in our community!

Today, Mora Elementary's second graders experienced the joy and excitement of reading in a whole new way, thanks to our amazing guest readers from the High School's FFA!
It's truly inspiring to see our older students step into the role of mentors, sharing their love for stories and reading with our eager young learners. The smiles, the laughter, and the sheer wonder in the eyes of our second graders as they listened to tales and adventures were a sight to behold.
This beautiful exchange not only strengthens our community but also ignites a passion for reading that transcends age. We're so grateful for the FFA members who took the time to inspire and engage with our second graders! #ILoveToReadMonth #ReadingTogether
