We wanted to share a share an important resource that could benefit many families during the summer break—the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
The SFSP is dedicated to ensuring that children in our community and surrounding areas have access to nutritious meals even when school is not in session. This program is a fantastic opportunity for children to continue receiving healthy meals throughout the summer at no cost.

In Mrs. Bursell's class, probability became as tasty as it is educational! Our students dove into the world of theoretical and experimental probability with a delicious twist—using M&Ms!
Each student became a mini-mathematician, predicting outcomes and then testing their hypotheses by actually counting and comparing their candy. It's not just about the numbers; it’s about seeing math in action, and what better way to learn than with some colorful, chocolatey fun?

Minnesota Dental Sealant Day was a shining success! Our team, along with dedicated dental professionals, provided sealants to protect the pearly whites of many of Mora Public Schools' students. The result? Many sparkly teeth and even bigger smiles!
Today, Mrs. Bursell’s English class embarked on an extraordinary journey back in time, to the days when quills and inkwells were the pinnacle of writing technology. Armed with quills, glass dip pens, and ink-filled fountain pens, our students delved into one of the oldest forms of writing, practicing their spelling words with tools that whispered tales of history.
Initially met with hesitation, every student was encouraged to at least try — and what unfolded was a transformation filled with delight and discovery! From skepticism to proclamation, one student felt as though they had stepped back into the Middle Ages, and by the end, there was unanimous enthusiasm for another voyage into the past.
With the sun shining bright and the great outdoors calling, Mr. Larsen decided to take learning outside the classroom walls today. It was a perfect day for a lesson on genetics, taught through the interactive and engaging world of Punnett squares—al fresco style!
Today's FACS class was a whirlwind of sugar, sprinkles, and creativity! Our talented students put their culinary skills to the test, turning ordinary cookies into extraordinary masterpieces. From colorful icing to imaginative designs, each cookie was a reflection of individual creativity and the joy of baking.
Our School Showcases History, Arts, and Athletics in Style! Three stunning new display cases, crafted by MCC Woodworks, were installed over spring break. These dedicated spaces will highlight our school's rich history, vibrant arts programs, and athletic achievements. Sometimes, the best way to learn is to pause for a little fun! Our 'Know Your Car' class took an unexpected turn today, proving that laughter really is the best fuel. Amidst learning about engines and tire pressure, we discovered a new use for traffic cones—fashionable headgear!
