Please check in with the District Office when you arrive. Guests are welcome to have constructive conversations with the superintendent and may offer suggestions for effective school operations and programs in a productive and respectful manner. The Superintendent is not able to take complaints about school personnel or other persons in a public setting.

Happy Veterans Day! We had a wonderful turnout at our Veterans Day Program at Mora Elementary. Thank you to all that came today to honor our Veterans. We also want to extend a Thank You to those involved with the program including Rita & Riley Erickson, our Veterans, The Mora American Legion, The Mora Cub Scouts, 5th & 6th grade greeters and poem readers, Hendrik Oslin, 5th & 6th grade choirs.

This week, Ms. Hambly’s first graders had a blast learning about the pumpkin life cycle and creating beautiful pumpkin paintings! They also explored the world of spiders and how they differ from insects. To top it off, they enjoyed a special snack while practicing their sequencing skills by putting the steps in order. What a fun and tasty way to learn!

Mrs. Gams’ 3rd graders had an exciting day yesterday as they learned about the 13 Ojibwe Moons on Turtle’s Back! This meaningful lesson gave students a deeper understanding of Ojibwe culture and the traditional lunar calendar. Such a wonderful way to connect with history.

Just a quick reminder that we’re kicking off a brand-new communication series called Coffee & Conversations with Superintendent Dan Voce, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re hopeful this will become a regular event filled with constructive, informative, and creative discussions about the education of the youth in our community.
