Mrs. Verdon's class celebrated the 50th day of school by going back to the fifties! We compared life from then to now, did a lot of fun 50s-themed math and literacy activities, had a sock hop, learned about solids, liquids, and gases while enjoying root beer floats, and ended the fun with a bubble gum blowing contest!
This was one of the monthly room transformations our class is doing this school year. These special days were made possible by a grant from the Mora Education Foundation. Thank you, MEF, for supporting our love of learning!
