We are excited to share the August 2024 edition of the Mustang Express with you! This issue is packed with all the essential back-to-school information you need, including Open House, supply lists, activities, health guidelines, nutrition programs, communications updates, and much more.

This is just a reminder that Free Sports Physicals are happening at Welia Health soon. They will be held on Tuesday, July 30th in Pine City and Thursday, August 1st in Mora. These are being hosted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Physicals are required every 3 years from the Minnesota State High School League from 7th grade and up! Please make sure your student has an up-to-date physical on file before the first day of practice.

Statebound: Congratulations to Ellie Whitbred as she qualified for the State Golf Meet! Finishing in second place at the Section 7AA meet with a two day total of 177. The class AA state golf meet will be held at Ridges of Sand Creek in Jordan, MN June 11-12.
Congratulations to Parker Ennis who broke the school triple jump record today with a jump of 34-6.5 at the section meet.

Mora baseball wins game two of the section 7AA playoffs over Mesabi East 2-0 and moves on to play Thursday. Great job gentlemen! More details coming soon.

Mora Schools will be closed Monday, May 27th. for Memorial Day. We will resume classes on Tuesday, May 28th.
In an emotional final C team game, our softball girls came together for a very special moment—to honor and remember their teammate, Kayla Maegi. The team gathered for one last picture, capturing the spirit of unity and friendship that Kayla helped foster within the team.
Girls golf finished up their regular season today at Albany with a team low for the year. Up next sections at Giants Ridge.
Congratulations to Coach Jay Pautzke on picking up career win #300 as the Mustangs defeated Aitkin in the early game today. Up next Rush City at 7:00 tonight.
