What is ECFE?

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a statewide opportunity for families like yours!

• Classes, field trips, and special events for parents and their children,

  ages birth-5 years.

• Education, support, fun and friendships for parents.

• Guidance and support from licensed early childhood teachers and parent educators.

• Learning through play and activities planned especially for young children.

You DO NOT HAVE TO “JOIN” anything just sign up for the classes or events you would like to attend. Any family with young children are eligible to participate. Fees are paid according to a sliding fee scale; however, fees can be waived if you are unable to pay. The Mora ECFE program offers classes and events during two semesters each year, winter/spring. All weather-related closing of Mora Public Schools applies to ECFE and Preschool Programs. In the event of late start, morning ECFE & Preschool classes are cancelled. In the event of early release, afternoon and evening classes are cancelled.

ECFE birth -5 year old class- Parents and children spend part of their time together in the classroom playing and the other part of the time separating. During that separation, parents will go to : “parent time” and the children stay in the classroom for additional learning and fun with a teacher and support staff

• Option #1A-Monday Mornings 8:15-10:00

• Option#1B-Monday Mornings 10:15-12:00

  Classes start Feb-3rd end May 12th

  (No Class Feb.17th, March 3rd, April 21st)

• Option#2A-Wednesday Mornings 8:15-10:00

• Option#2B-Wednesday Mornings 10:15-12:00

  Classes start Feb-5th end May 14th

  (No Class Feb.19th, March 5th, April 23rd)

• Option#3- Evening Class (Non-Separating)

  Tuesday Evenings

  April- 1st, 8th, 15th, and 29th (No Class April 22nd)

  5:30-6:45

The cost for this class is $12.00 per family
